![]() So I manually make crosses from that top track down to the bottom. If you make a new train, it will sometimes place on that new track (it’s unused). The top track is brand new, the bottom one old, and it has some single branches to say an ore mine. Three tracks side by side for a long distance. Every switch allows the train to get further before needing to stop for leeway. Even when I have full double track between two destinations I manually cross track with the single track tool. The game tries to pick the unused track for routing so make sure your new track has links back to get to the destination(s) you need to reach. As the game moves on I double track more and more.
